The remote control feature of the Behringer X32 worked very well. Though I would contend that using the PC version with a windows8 Laptop provided a more full featured experience. Without going through each feature one by one, it appears that the PC version of the software provided control of everything you would want to do in a live show. Using a windows8 computer that included a touchscreen made it very easy to select and perform various functions. I had an old IPAD, one of the originals, so I had to upgrade to the latest OS available for that iPAD, version 5.1.
Setup was very simple once I remembered that their two RJ45 (Lan connections) on the back of the X32. I couldn’t readily see the back of the unit as I had to lean over the top of the X32 to see the back. Once I put the connector into my LAN connection closer to the power port. I could easily ping the X32. I put the IP address as 192.168.1.1 for the X32. I connected the LAN port of the X32 to one of the spare ports on my Hawaiian Tel wireless modem that is used for both my IP TV and Internet service. The network mask is 255.255.255.0, which is pretty standard for any router connected to an internet provider.
I jumped on my laptop and pinged the X32 and got four reply messages indicating that there was IP connectivity between my laptop and the X32 mixer via my wireless internet service.
To use the Ping command on your PC first hold the windows key down and press R. Type CMD on the window and DOS like window will open. In the command window type ping 192.168.1.1 or whatever IP address you decided to assign to the X32. You should see four responses from the X32 that is answering your ping (This is a standard LAN testing procedure)
Download the XControl software for the Behringer X32 mixer from http://www.behringer.com . Look for the Downloads tab and select the appropriate XControl software, iPad or PC.

Starting this July 14th, I will be working with Ewa by Gentry setting up Live entertainment for Saturday Swap Meet at 91-1795 Keaunui Drive, Ewa Beach 96706.
All caliber of entertainment are welcome. Promote yourself or your group at this event. Simply come in and plug in.
The good book has taught me that everyone is born with a negative state of mind right from the start. Right after birth we are narcissistic little kids that only want, what we want, when we want it. As we grow we are taught to share things, be patient, and world doesn’t revolve around us and we are not the center of attention.
Have you ever been in a doctor’s office, seeing a pair of toddlers on the floor, but with only one toy between them? You remember how they immediately got into it and then the dominant personality stole the toy from the other child. There you go … It’s up to the parents of the children to start that learning process that ultimately will result in a child that has grown to be an adult and contributing member of his community. So what happens if the family unit is broken and the child loses his teachers? It’s simple, look around you.
One would wonder, is it really the fault of the child? I don’t think so … Now kicking in the element of the evil influences in this world. Yes, the good book also tells me that man can be influenced by the devil, making us do things that a good person wouldn’t. Remember, hearing cases where someone would kill indiscriminately and when asked why they did it, he would say, a voice told him to do it.
But the secular world would like to call it schizophrenia as the reason … So is it the man’s fault? Once again I don’t think so. I remember a few years ago, my van was broken while we were shopping. I lost my 17″ computer and some very expensive program CDs, a GPS system on the front windshield, and a heavy-duty tripod. I remember feeling no hatred to the thief. I was amazingly calm which really surprised me because I would normally have reacted much worse, probably swearing out loud, kicking my van and more. However, I understood how this world works and I knew that God would rather we simply not get angry and let him take care of the thief. All this resulted in zero stress and making me a better person for me, my family and my friends.
Here is the bottom line, Take the time to know God, you will be able to live a better life, without hate, and the greatest tolerance for the negative things around you. You will learn the “why” of what people do and you will know to “love” and help him or her as best you can, finally the best you can is only possible if you believe in HIM and follow his word.
Our present economy situation maybe prompting some creative maneuvers by some of the businesses you frequent. On two occasions I have noticed that the figures I had posted on my home budget spreadsheet do not match the banks ledger. The amount on the ledger was higher than what I had posted. Unfortunately on the first notice I didn’t have the receipt. On the second event I found the receipt in my wallet however, the date and amount were rubbed off. I know it’s not a matter of me forgetting to include any tips because the business is self-served and carry out.
Take the time to check your receipts against actual charges to your bank account. These days, losing a few dollars here and there adds up to big bucks at the end of the month.

The Issue:
All of a sudden my default browser page in my Internet Explorer was replaced to something coming from Incredibar, forcing me to use it for my web searches.
I found Incredibar in my list of installed programs, removed it, but page remained as Incredibar. I knew was in trouble now.
The Fix:
I searched the internet for a cure and found a few apps that would fix it, but for a fee. No no, I thought, there is got to be a way to fix this for free.
Then I remembered Spybot Search and Destroy as being one of my ol’ time favorites that has saved me, many times in the past.
I decided to try the newer, free version called Spybot 2.
I downloaded the application, ran it and it successfully found and removed the Incredibar default page.

Be Weary
Some websites will offer you a free scan to get rid of the bug. They will allow the scan, tell you they found it, and then ask you to pay some $$ to have it removed. Some websites will have you enter your personal information as a registration process then ask you to pay the $$. Well, you know about Spybot, so go have it done for Free. Don’t bother to erase your information onscreen as it might already be too late. Some programs designed to capture information will send information as each key is pressed one at time, capturing your information even before you hit the enter key.
How did I get that Incredibar?
I believe it came and installed itself when I installed a print screen program that I removed because it didn’t work well. That wouldn’t have happened if I had simply gone to a trusted website to search for, and try different software. Sites like brow www.download.com www.tucows.com and the likes.
