I love my Dropbox… I have my family budget spreadsheet in my local Dropbox folder on my desktop computer which automatically syncs up with the copy on the Dropbox server.
First I opened the budget on my desktop and then opened the same file using my laptop. I wanted to see how any conflicts would be resolved if I had made changes on both open versions of the budget then save and close them both.
The Dropbox cloud handled it beautifully by first recognizing that both versions of the spreadsheet was changed then it will simply create a copy of the budget sheet also indicating which computer made the changes. Beautiful….I’ll never lose my important documents even if both computers blew up.
