I may as well be the first... ha.

Billy Gomban Jr. here.. born and raised in Waianae, 4 years in the Navy as a radio man,  32 years with Hawaiian Tel - started as a telephone installer, then data tech, data supervisor, project manager, sales engineer, the retired.. .whew! and best of all I'm only 28.

After I retired I worked as communications consultent doing video conferencing installations for (3) mainland companies.  then I worked with the Hawaii State Civil Defense for 3 years as their systems engineer.

In 2007 I started with the Ewa by Gentry Community Association as their Systems Engineer, taking care of their computer networks, project managment, and everthing else on the technical side.

I'm a Ham, Musician (sax, keyboard, ukulele, vocals), DJ, sound man, Tech Dir. at Church New Hope in Ewa Beach) and love photography, video and flying radio control airplanes and helicopters.   

I run KH6JPL repeater on 147.12 but am trying to get that back to Hawaiian Tel so that I can run one here at Ewa by Gentry.

So... tell me about yourselves..    73 for now.

When is the field day this year... I'm thinking we could use one of the properties here at Ewa by Gentry where I live... No need to worry about permit etc...  let's do it...  I ready for a pot of your wifes cooking.. .  Where's Norm and Roy... and the rest of the crew...  Who's got the details, post it here...

Okay I try again.  Your bio make look good.  I wish I had da kine bio to, hi hi.  As far as "up coming field day" all you folks can set up here.  Plenty of room in my basement (30x20ft).   One pull out pu'une, plenty floor space.  Plenty kau kau, gas grill one charcoal grill.  Swimming pool. And plenty of sandy to twinkle your toe's just like back home we can buy from Wal Mart.  How about it???  Or we can go to Lulu Lei and use da antenna's there?  I'll be waiting for all replies.
