You might have seen Sammy in a wheel chair at NHL.  New Hope also did a remake of his home earlier this year.   We saw Sammy about a week ago and we had dinner at the old Daie (don quijote).. Any he had mentioned his need of a semi firm Full size mattress only for his bed... he has the frame and box spring.

Let me know if anyone has a deal on one or would like to donate one to Sammy... 

His existing mattress is so hard he said the he finds it easier to sleep in his wheel chair.... ah... I can't imagine that...

I am so touched and ready to assist in any way I can.  Monetarily, shopping or whatever it takes to get a better sleep apparatus or mattress for our brother Sammy.  He is truly inspirational to my family and certainly to all who know him. 
Oh something that has worked and improved my sleep on my mattress has been a mattress cover.
Covers can add volumes of additional support; providing comfort when placed on top of the current mattress.
Most department and general stores carry them.  The covers can cost from $30 to over $100 and in a variety of styles and sizes for your comfort..Sammy needs semi-firm (Full size) which I believe is available.
I'll start checking tomorrow...let me know your thoughts---.
